Medan - FKM USU: FKM USU celebrated the peak event of the 29th FKM USU Anniversary on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the FKM USU Auditorium. This peak event was filled with various activities, including a scientific oration delivered by Dr. dr. Cashtry Meher, M. Kes. M.Ked (KK), Sp.KK., FIHFAA, alumni of IKM FKM USU Doctoral Study Program. USU Deputy Chancellor IV Prof. Dr. Opim Salim Sitompul, M.Sc., in his speech said that the need for public health experts in Indonesia is still a top priority. “Health practitioners must be strong and tough, both mentally, physically, scientifically and in character, so that they can continue to be forefront in building and realizing a healthy and prosperous Indonesian society,” said Prof. Opim. The Dean of FKM USU Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si in her remarks hoped that the existence of FKM USU would become stronger, as a health sub-system that would contribute to solving public health problems in Indonesia, including supporting the achievement of SDG's in 2030. A series of events were held to enliven the top event The 29th Anniversary of FKM USU included: blood donation, health check-up through Posbindu, dental check-up, skin and beauty check-up, bazaar, and exhibition of community service products, as well as various competitions. The event was closed with the announcement of the winners of the competition which were attended by students, lecturers and FKM USU education staff.
