Managers of Doctoral Public Health Science Study Program, are:

• Head of the Study Program
• Secretary of the Study Program

The Duties and Authorities of the Head and Secretary of the Public Health Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Public Health USU, are:

• The Head of the Study Program, serves as the coordinator and controller of the implementation of the teaching and learning process in the Study Program and is responsible to the Dean.
• The Secretary of the Study Program is tasked with assisting the Head of the Study Program in completing administration and supervising the implementation of the teaching and learning process in the Study Program.
• The Head and Secretary of the Study Program are in charge of monitoring the progress of the completion and writing of the dissertation and are responsible to the Dean.

Study Program Lecturer

• Lecture activities, research guidance and dissertation writing are carried out by lecturers who are recruited from faculties within Universitas Sumatera Utara and from other universities recognized by the government or from outside universities who are considered competent in their field of knowledge.
• Lecturers are proposed by the Head/Secretary of the Study Program to the Dean to be forwarded and determined by the Chancellor.
• Each course given in the implementation of education is determined by a lecturer as Subject Supervisor, who is responsible for teaching the course. In carrying out their duties, the course supervisor can be assisted by other lecturers as members. The course instructor is in charge of:
  • Coordinate and be responsible for the material taught and the smooth running of the academic activities of the subjects they care for.
  • Coordinate and be responsible for the final assessment of the courses they care for.
